Aamir Khan jets off to Udaipur with son Azad Rao ahead of Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare’s royal wedding celebrations, see video

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are all set for a grand wedding in Udaipur. After registering their marriage in the presence of family and close friends, the couple will reportedly take pheras in Udaipur and will also host wedding festivities. Aamir, along with his son Azad Rao, was spotted leaving for Udaipur today. The PK actor was seen donning flared pants, which he paired with a red short kurta. Aamir and Azad were all smiles as they struck some poses for the media. The festivities are scheduled to kick off on January 7 and will span over three days.

The pre-wedding festivities kicked off with a bang and Ira’s mother Reena Dutta, brother Junaid Khan and Aamir’s ex-wife Kiran Rao were seen posing for a family picture. Salman Khan hosted the mehendi ceremony at his residence.

The groom made heads turn when he jogged from his Santacruz home to the wedding venue in a sporty outfit. He later danced to dhol beats with friends outside. Videos on social media showed Nupur and Ira signing marriage documents amid cheers from guests. Mukesh Ambani and Neeta Ambani were also seen arriving for the wedding in Mumbai.

According to a report by India Today, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rajkumar Hirani among others will attend the wedding reception to be held in Mumbai on January 13. 

Ira and Nupur, who have been together for over three years, got engaged in November 2023.
