The XAT examination is over for candidates

XAT 2025 Exam Day Updates: The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur has conducted the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025. The XAT 2025 was conducted for three hours between 2 pm and 5 pm.
The XAT 2025 admit card was available on the official website xatonline.in. The question paper of XAT 2025 consisted of two parts – part 1 is an aptitude test (170 minutes) and part 2 is general knowledge (10 minutes).
Candidates will also be penalised for skipping questions more than eight. Candidates can skip up to eight questions without any penalty. For each question skipped after the 8th one, a penalty of 0.1 marks per question will be applied.
The examination will start at 2 pm. Candidates remember to carry an admit card!

Marks per question
Each question carries 1 mark, with 95 questions expected.
Negative Marking for Incorrect Answers: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Penalty for Skipping Questions
You can skip up to 8 questions without any penalty.
For each question skipped after the 8th one, a penalty of 0.1 marks per question will be applied.
The GK section has no negative markings. It will not contribute to the overall percentile or cutoff score but will be considered in the selection process.
Candidates will have to carry their XAT 2025 admit cards and a valid id proof to the exam centre tomorrow.
XAT has registered a surge in registrations this year, reaching an all-time high of 1,42,235 applications. Last year, the number of applications had increased from 96,438 in 2023 to 1.35 lakh in 2024.
