XLRI has appointed Fr. Antony R. Uvari, SJ as the new Director of its Delhi-NCR campus, succeeding Fr. Nelson A. D'Silva, SJ. An XLRI alumnus with over eighteen years of academic and leadership experience.

Amaravati has been planned as a centre for governance, education and institutional activity by the state government.
