WBPSC Clerkship Result 2023 Declared: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced the results for the Clerkship (Part-I) Examination 2023, marking a significant step in one of the state’s most competitive recruitment processes.
As per the official data, 89,821 candidates have qualified in the preliminary stage and are now eligible to appear for the upcoming Part-II examination.
The WBPSC Clerkship recruitment examination remains among the most sought-after state-level government job opportunities in West Bengal, drawing lakhs of aspirants each year. The Part-I (preliminary) computer-based test was conducted across various centres in the state on November 16 and 17, 2024.
Candidates who have cleared the preliminary stage will now move on to the Clerkship (Part-II) examination, which will play a decisive role in determining the final selection of candidates for clerical posts in different departments under the state government. The Commission is expected to release the date and admit card for the Part-II exam in the coming weeks.

The result is available in PDF format containing the roll numbers of all qualified candidates. Aspirants can use the search function (Ctrl+F) to locate their roll numbers quickly, and are advised to download and print the document for reference during the next stage of the recruitment process.
According to the cut-off list released by the Commission, the qualifying marks vary across categories. For the General category, the cut-off stands at 49 marks, followed by 48 for OBC-A and OBC-B, 47 for SC, and 29 for ST candidates.
For the 89,821 qualified candidates, the focus now shifts to the preparation for WBPSC Clerkship Part-II, which is the final stage before the selection list is announced. The Commission has advised candidates to keep a close watch on the official WBPSC website for updates regarding the exam schedule, syllabus, and admit card release.
