West Bengal JEE Result 2024: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board declared the results of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) at 2:30 pm on June 6. However, the scorecard link will be activated at 4 pm today. Once the link has been made active, students can check their WBJEE results at the official websites — wbjeeb.nic.in.
Those who clear the cut-off will be called for counselling sessions. The dates of counselling will be notified by the board soon. It is a common entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, pharmacy, and architecture in universities, govt. colleges and self-financed institutes in the state.
Nearly one lakh candidates appeared for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations. Students wrote papers for enrollment in BTech and BPharm courses at 328 exam centres – including three centres in the northeastern region of the country, a senior WBJEE official said. This year, the WBJEE exam was conducted on April 28.
Students who register for the examination will be required to key in their registration number/ roll number and password to check the scorecard. WBJEE will soon start with a choice-filling and choice-locking process on its official website.
There were 50 questions for Maths, 30 for Physics and 30 for Chemistry in three categories each, with negative marking for category 1 and 2, but no negative marking for category 3. The Maths paper consists of 100 marks, and Physics and Chemistry are of 50 marks each. Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR sheet with a black/blue pen.
