West Bengal JEE Result 2024 Declared: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) declared results for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination at 3 pm, and scorecards were released at 4 pm on June 6. Students who appeared for the exam can check the results at the official website — wbjeeb.nic.in.
A total of 1,12,963 students were declared successful, and WBJEE Board chairman Malayendu Saha announced that Kingshuk Patra from Bankura Zilla School topped the WBJEE exam. Students wrote papers for enrollment in BTech and BPharm courses at 328 exam centres – including three centres in the northeastern region of the country.

WBJEE is an entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture of various universities, and colleges in the state. This year, the exam was conducted on April 28. Exams were held in two shifts every day — the first shift was from 11 am to 1 pm, and the second shift was from 2 pm to 4 pm. The duration of the exam was two hours.
Those who clear the cut-off will be called for counselling sessions. The dates of counselling will be notified by the board soon. It is a common entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, pharmacy, and architecture in universities, govt. colleges and self-financed institutes in the state.
In 2023, Md Sahil Akhtar from Kolkata secured the first rank, second position was secured by Soham Das also of Kolkata and the third place has been secured by Sara Mukherjee of Durgapur. The success rate is 99.4 per cent out of the 97,524 candidates who appeared for the exam.
A year before that, the pass percentage for WBJEE was 98.5 per cent, and students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) dominated the top ten merit list of WBJEE with the first two ranks going to students from the central board.
