West Bengal WBJEE Result 2023: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) today (May 26) declared the result for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their scores at the official website — wbjeeb.nic.in.

Md Sahil Akhtar from Kolkata secured the first rank, second position was secured by Soham Das also of Kolkata and the third place has been secured by Sara Mukherjee of Durgapur.

This time, the success rate is 99.4 per cent out of the 97,524 candidates who appeared for the exam. “My sincere congratulations and best wishes to the successful students. May you have a golden future, may your dreams touch your life,” said Bratya Basu, the Minister for Education of West Bengal.

West Bengal WBJEE Result 2023 at wbjeeb.nic.in: How to Check

Step 1: Visit the official website — wbjeeb.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘WBJEE result 2023’ link on the homepage.

Step 3: Fill in the required details.

Step 4: Click submit.

Step 5: Download and take a printout for future reference.

The WBJEE Board had recently released the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet, and candidates were given time till 4 pm of May 20 to view and challenge their OMR sheet. Candidates had to pay a one time non-refundable fee of Rs 500 per response.

In 2022, the pass percentage for WBJEE was 98.5 per cent, and students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) dominated the top ten merit list of WBJEE with the first two ranks going to students from the central board.

WBJEE 2023 is conducted for admission into undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture of different universities, government colleges as well as self financing engineering and technological institutes in the state of West Bengal for the academic session 2023-24.
