WBJEE 2023: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2023 will be conducted today (April 30). The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board had released the admit cards for the exam on April 20, which was available at the official WBJEE website — wbjeeb.nic.in.
According to the official schedule, the WBJEE 2023 paper 1 of Mathematics will be conducted from 11 am till 2pm, and the paper 2 of Physics and Chemistry is scheduled to be conducted from 2 om till 4 pm.
Candidates should remember to carry their admit cards to the exam centre as no student will be allowed to enter the premises without first producing the hall ticket and an identity card.
In today’s exam, questions are to be answered on specially designed optical machine-readable response (OMR) sheet, which will be evaluated by Optical Mark Recognition method. Thus, it is important for candidates to follow the correct method of marking. Candidates will fill in their response by darkening the appropriate circle/bubble completely with blue/black ink ball point pen, no other mark will be considered.
Those who are appearing in both paper 1 and paper 2 are eligible for both General Merit Rank (GMR) as well as Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). Such candidates are considered for admission in all courses. Those appearing only in paper 2 are eligible for PMR only. Such candidates are considered for admission into Pharmacy courses only (except in Jadavpur University). Students appearing only in paper 1 are not eligible for any rank.
After the WBJEE 2023 exam today, model answer keys will be available for a limited time period at the Board’s website. Candidates will be able to log in and view the model answer keys, and raise objections.
