VITEEE 2026: Important dates and duration

The VITEEE 2026 examination is tentatively scheduled to take place between April 28 and May 3, 2026. The duration of the test will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are allowed to appear only once for the exam, and any attempt to take the test more than once will result in the cancellation of candidature and admission.

The entrance test will be conducted across multiple days, depending on the number of applicants in each city. The application and counselling fees are non-refundable.

Exam pattern and marking scheme

The exam paper will comprise a total of 125 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided across five sections. Candidates must choose between the MPCEA (Mathematics-based) or BPCEA (Biology-based) pattern depending on their subject combination in Class 12.

The VITEEE 2026 paper will be available only in English, and the total duration of the test is 150 minutes.
