The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will soon announce Class 12 results. Reports claim that the result will be released by the end of month. The indianexpress.com is trying to contact the officials, but have not received any confirmation yet. Once released, students can check their result at the official UP Board websites — upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in This year, the UP board class 12 exams were conducted from February 16 till March 4. A total of 27,69,258 students had appeared for the class 12 exam this year according to the data released by the state board. In 2022, the UP board recorded an overall pass percentage of 85.33 percent. The overall pass percentage for boys was 81.21 per cent and for the girls it was 90.15 per cent. A total of 22.37 lakh students had appeared for class exams in 2022. This was a drop from the year before as in 2021, the pass percentage for class 12 was 97.88 per cent. A total of 26,10,316 students had registered themselves for the class 12 examination out of which 25,54,813 passed the exams. A total of 14,74,317 male students had registered against 11,36,930 female students. However, 2020 was a low scoring year as Class 12 recorded the pass percentage of 74.63 per cent and more than 25 lakh students registered for the UP Class 12 board exams. The pass percentage for girls was 81.96 per cent and for the boys, the pass percentage was 68.88 per cent. This was a good increase from 2019 when the overall pass percentage was 70.06 per cent. In 2019, around 26,03,169 students had registered out of which 23,52,049 candidates had cleared the exam. 12,47,375 boys and 11,04,674 girls registered for class 12 exam and around 8,03,330 boys and 8,44,589 girls had cleared the exam in 2019.
