UGC NET Exam Day Instructions 2025: The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is starting from today (January 3). The UGC NET December 2024 exam will continue till January 16.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts UGC NET to award Junior Research Fellowship and appoint Assistant professor, for appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD and admission to PhD only is holding the UGC NET 2024 December exam for 85 subjects. The UGC NET will be held online in two shifts – the first from 9 am to 12 noon and the second between 3 pm to 6 pm.
The UGC-NET 2024 December admit card is already out. The official website of UGC NET is ugcnet.nta.ac.in is hosting the UGC NET December 2024 admit card and other exam day instructions. Candidates appearing for the exam can download the UGC-NET December 2024 hall tickets from the official website.
– Printed copy of admit card downloaded from NTA website.
– One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at the centre during the examination.
– Any one of the authorised photo IDs (must be original, valid and non- expired). The name on the photo identification must match the name as shown on the Admit Card.
These are the accepted photo IDs – Aadhar Card, PAN card, Driving License and Passport. All these must have photograph of the candidate.
The candidates will have to report at the examination centre two hours before the start of the examination so as to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before time. Registration desk at the exam centre will be closed 30 minutes prior to the examination.
