(Representative image/ Express photo)TNEA 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai today released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling 2024 schedule. Candidates who want to check the timetable can find it at the official website — tneaonline.org.
The registration process started today (May 6) and will conclude on June 6. The last date for uploading documents is on June 12.
As per the schedule, the certificate verification is from June 13 to June 30. The rank list will be published on July 10. Grievances redressal will be done from July 11 to 20.

Step 1: Visit the official website — tneaonline.org
Step 2: Click on the TNEA Counselling 2024 registration link for BE/BTech/BArch on the home page
Step 3: Enter the registration details and click on submit
Step 4: Once done, fill out the application form and make the payment for the application
Step 5: Click on submit
Step 6: Download and save it for the future use
A rank list for all the eligible applicants will be published through the TNEA web portal. One week will be given for redressing the grievances in the rank list. Grievances redressal will be in-person and applicants can contact the Office of Secretary, TNEA, Directorate of Technical Education or nearby TFCs.

Counseling will be conducted online in three rounds and candidates will participate in corresponding rounds based on their rank. Each round will have 4 stages:
a) Choice filling
b) Allotment
c) Confirmation of allotment
d) Reporting to college and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation
The counseling for special reservation categories viz Eminent Sports person, Differently Abled and Wards of Ex-servicemen will be conducted first in online mode. The general counseling, vocational counseling and 7.5 per cent seats on preferential basis to the students who have studied from 6 to 12 in state government schools will be conducted simultaneously through online.
