The rank list, originally scheduled for June 29, was postponed after the state extended the certificate verification deadline to accommodate students affected by the delay in CBSE Class 12 revaluation results. The merit list will be issued through the official website at tneaonline.org.

According to a senior official from DOTE, though over 3.02 lakh students have enrolled, as many as 2,45,220 have uploaded their certificates.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, is set to publish the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) random number today, on June 10. Eligible candidates can access and download their respective random number from the official portal at tneaonline.org, once they are released.

TNEA has had the highest number of registrations in 2025, over 3.02 lakh.

The figure surpasses the previous record of 3,01,026 registrations set in 2025, which was itself considered the highest at the time.

Candidates who wish to take admission to BTech courses in government and non-government colleges can fill out the form. The application form is available on their official website, tneaonline.org, and dte.tn.gov.in.

The admission process, as specified in the notification, further mentions that while students who have qualified for CUET-PG can apply, first preference will be given to candidates with a valid GATE score.
