TN Board +1 11th Result 2025, Dge.tn.gov.in Updates: Link active to download marks memo at tnresults.nic.in

Candidates must score above 35 marks in each of the six subjects out of 100. For those subjects having 70 marks in theory, candidates will have to obtain 15 marks in theory and a total of 35 marks while there is no minimum marks requirement in the practical or internal section.

Since 2018, the Tamil Nadu HSE board has stopped 'advertising' or declaring the names of the top ranked students. Instead, it announces the city or district which registers the highest pass percentage. According to the DGE, the move is aimed at reducing 'unhealthy' competition.

Step 3: Enter your credentials such as roll number and date of birth

Step 4: View and download the TN HSE plus 1 results for future reference

Students who appeared for the TN Plus One board examinations can check and download their scorecards by entering their roll number and roll code on the designated websites.

A total of 8,07,098 students, including 4,24,610 girls and 3,82,488 boys, have registered for their TN +1 exam this year. As many as 7,43,232 girls have passed, of which 4,03,949 are girls and 3,39,283 are boys.

In the TN HSC, the pass percentage of girls is 95.13%, while that of boys is 88.70%

The pass percentage is 92.09%

A total of 3,82,488 boys appeared for the examination, out of which 3,39,283 passed, recording a pass percentage of 88.70%. Meanwhile, among the girls, 4,24,610 candidates appeared and 4,03,949 cleared the exam, achieving an impressive pass percentage of 95.13%.

TNDGE has adopted a no-detention policy for Class 11 which enables a student who are unable to clear the exams to take the same later in Class 12. The Tamil Nadu Class 11 no-detention policy was introduced in 2018.

The overall pass percentage in 2024 was 91.17 per cent. The pass percentage increased slightly to 91.17 per cent from 90.93 per cent in 2023.

This year, the Tamil Nadu Board conducted the Class 11 Board exams 2025 between March 5 to March 27. The practical component of the TN Board Class 11 exams was conducted between February 15 to 21.

Last year, the Tamil Nadu Board +1 HSE exam results were declared on May 14, 2024. The  TN Board Class 12 exams last year were held between March 4 and March 25.

The Tamil Nadu board HSE +1 marksheet will include details such as the name of the student, registration number, total subject-wise marks, internal marks, theory marks, practical marks, aggregate marks, qualifying status (pass or fail), and more. Students must note that the scorecard will be provisional, hence, the students are required to collect the original mark sheet from their schools.
