TN 10th SSLC Result 2024: Students should check result update at official website - dge.tn.gov.in (Representative image/ Express photo)TN SSLC Result 2024: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TNDGE) today (May 10) released the result for the Secondary School leaving certificate examination (SSLC) or class 10 examination at 9:30 am. The SSLC results and detailed scorecards are available at the official websites — dge.tn.nic.in or tnresults.nic.in.
The Tamil Nadu education board conducted the board class 10 exams from March 26 to April 8 which were held in the morning shift from 10 am to 1:15 pm in a pen-paper mode.
The pass percentage is 91.55%.
Once released, students can check the Tamil Nadu SSLC results at the official TNDGE website — dge.tn.nic.in or tnresults.nic.in.
To check the scorecard, candidates need to click on the “Examination Results” section available on the home page, and then select “Annual Examination 2024”. After that, choose your respective subject, and enter your roll number and roll code in the designated subject. Once you click on ‘submit’, the scorecard will be visible on the screen. It is advised to download and save the scorecard for future reference.
The exams were held in 3,986 exam centers across the state. Around 8 lakh students have appeared for the exam.
For a student to pass Tamil Nadu SSLC board exams, a candidate must score at least 35 marks in each subject. Those who fail to score the minimum qualifying marks will be declared fail by the board. Such students will have to appear in the supplementary exams date of which will be announced in due course of time.
Last year, the board had recorded an overall passing percentage of 91.39 per cent, which was an increase from 2022’s 90.07 per cent pass percentage. In 2023, Perambalur emerged as the best performing district, while in 2022 it was Kanyakumari district.
In 2023, girls had performed better in Tamil Nadu SSLC Results by securing a pass percentage of 94.66 per cent, meanwhile 88.16 per cent boys had passed. The results were announced on May 19 last year.
