TNDGE +2 Result 2023, Tamil Nadu 12th Result Today: The Directorate of Government Exams, Tamil Nadu has announced the results for Class 12 or HSC exams 2023. Students who appeared for the exam can check their results at the official websites — dge.tn.gov.in,  tnresults.nic.in. The pass percentage is 94.03 per cent.

The HSE exam began on March 13 and concluded on April 3. This year, around 50,000 were absent from the plus two language exam. School Education Minister, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi assured the Tamil Nadu assembly that steps will be taken to identify the dropouts and encourage them to appear for supplementary exams.

Step 1: Visit the official website — tnresults.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the result link given on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your credentials such as roll number and date of birth.

Step 4: View and download the results for future reference.

This year, around 8.51 lakh students registered for the exam out of which 5.36 lakh students were from Science stream, 2.54 lakh from Commerce and 14,000 from Arts stream. Out of 8.51 lakh, a total of  7,55,451 students qualified the plus two exams. Girls have outperformed boys by scoring 96.38 per cent as the overall pass percentage, and boys recorded 91.45 per cent.

Virudhu Nagarpass has emerged as the best performing district with 97.85 per cent, followed by Tirupur at 97.79 per cent and Ariyalur at 97.59 per cent.

In 2022, over 93.76 per cent of students were declared pass. In 2021, for class 12 students, 50 per cent weightage was given to to class 10 board examination scores (average of three subjects with high marks), while 20 per cent (written in each subject) weightage was accorded to Plus One board exam and 30 per cent, was given to class 12 practical and internal assessment.
