Strathclyde Business School Glasgow announces scholarships for international students for Jan 2025 intake

The scholarships are for the international students and are valued between £9,000 and £12,000 depending upon the course fee and subject area of the candidate.

Strathclyde Business School Glasgow has announced a series of master’s scholarships for the January 2025 intake. The scholarships are available for international students and are valued between £9,000 and £12,000 depending upon the course fee and subject area of the candidate. The award will be based on merit and the number of scholarships available is 35.

The Strathclyde Business School scholarships will be awarded based on merit rather than financial need and the candidates must demonstrate outstanding academic performance in their current or previous studies, in both their scholarship application and their masters programme application. Additionally, relevant extracurricular activities, professional experience, and career development will be considered for the selection. 

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must be self-funded (not receiving other scholarships, employer sponsorships, etc.).

– They should already have an offer for an MSc programme starting in January 2025.

– The candidate must be classified as an International student for fee status.

– Candidates are eligible for only one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.

– Online and blended learning programmes are not eligible.

– Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis from August 2024.

– The final deadline for applications is December 4, 2024.

– The decision on scholarships is final and cannot be appealed.

The students pursuing studies in fields including accounting and finance, economics, entrepreneurship, human resource management, marketing, business, hospitality and tourism, management, management science and data analytics are eligible to apply.

Scholarships will be granted on a rolling basis starting in early August 2024. The last date for application submissions is December 4, 2024. Applicants are advised not to submit duplicate applications as all forms and statements provided will remain under consideration throughout the selection process.

To apply, candidates need to write a 1,000-word statement highlighting their academic achievements, relevant professional or extracurricular experiences and future career goals. Through this, they can share what they are passionate about in their chosen programme and explain why they think they deserve the scholarship. The statement should give insight into the strengths and aspirations and how they seek to contribute to the programme and make the most of the opportunity.
