10 Indian institutes in top 250, IIM Bangalore best in country: QS World University Rankings 2024 (MBA)

As many as two Indian MBA institutes are among the world’s 50 best for employability. IIM Bangalore is placed 39th globally and fourth highest in Asia, followed by IIM Calcutta in 46th, ranking seventh in Asia.

IIM Ahmedabad and Indian School of Business are placed in the top 50 for QS’ entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes indicator. While IIM Ahmedabad is ranked 33rd, second in Asia, the Indian School of Business has been ranked 43rd, fifth best in Asia.

IIM Bangalore is the only Indian MBA among the top 50 for return on investment, in which it is placed in the 31st rank. It is also the national leader for thought leadership but does not place among the top 50, ranking 57th overall.

QS also ranks 28 specialised business master’s, including 17 master’s in management, five master’s in finance, three master’s in business analytics, two master’s in marketing and one master’s in supply chain management.

The IIM Bangalore is India’s best Master in Management. It ranks 31st globally due to its exceptional alumni outcomes, in which it ranks 10th, a statement on the QS World University rankings said.

While IIM Calcutta is ranked for India’s best master in business analytics in the top 100. It comes in the 61-70 band for this programme, IIM Udaipur ranks 51+ for its master in supply chain management programme.
