The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on September 5 started the application for the General Duty (GD) constable recruitment. Interested candidates can apply for the SSC GD 2025 constable vacancies on the official website – ssc.gov.in. The last date to register for the SSC GD constable recruitment 2025 is October 14.
The SSC GD constable 2025 exam is set to be held between January and February.
As many as 39,481 vacancies will be filled as part of the recruitment process. Shortlisted candidates will be recruited as constable (general duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR), and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
The Commission will hold the SSC GD 2025 exam in four stages – computer based test (CBT), physical efficiency test (PET), and physical standard test (PST) followed by a medical examination.
The women candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from paying SSC GD 2025 constable recruitment application fee, while for others, it is Rs 100.
