PSEB Board Exams 2024: Over 2 lakh students appear for Class 10th Science

PSEB Board Exams 2024: The Punjab School Education Board on February 16 conducted Science exam for Class 10 students. As per the data provided by the Punjab Board, a total of 2,97,048 students appeared for the exam.

The exam was conducted at 3808 examination centers that have been set up for the 2024 class 10 board exams.

As per the datesheet issued by PSEB, Class 10 exams commenced from February 13 and will conclude on March 5, 2024. The exams will be conducted from 11 am till 2:15 pm. Similarly, The Class 12 exams began from February 13, 2024 and will conclude on March 30, and the same timing (of 11 am till 2:15 pm) is being followed.

From this year, PSEB students will not be able to apply for re-evaluation for board exams 2024. “The candidates appearing in the board examinations were (earlier) given the facility of re-evaluation by the board. As per the decision taken by the board in view of the inconvenience caused to the examinees due to the delay in declaring the result, according to this method and some technical reasons, it has been decided to discontinue the provision of re-evaluation from the March 2024 examinations. The facility of re-checking of answer sheets for the examinees will continue as before,” an official notification stated.

Meanwhile, PSEB is also inviting applications for admissions of students of Class 10 (matric) and Class 12 (senior secondary) categories under the open school system for the academic year 2024-25. The application window is open and students can register by April 30. The new accreditation fee is Rs 3,300 for matric, while the renewal fee is Rs 1,650 and for senior secondary is Rs 4,400 per group and renewal fee is Rs 1,650 per group, the board said.
