
PSEB Class 8th Result 2023: The Punjab School Education Board, Mohali Friday announced the result of class 8. The PSEB students can check their results at pseb.ac.in or at punjab.indiaresults.com. Lovepreet Kaur from Government Girls School, Mansa is the state topper.
As many as 356 students score between 97% to 100% of which 310 are girl students and 46 are boys. Subject-wise, Punjabi subject recorded the highest 99.79 pass percentage. Urdu recorded 100 percent with a total of 413 students appeared in the Urdu exam which was an optional subject. English has a pass percentage of 99.08 percent while Mathematics has a pass percentage of 99.56 percent
The students can check their results at the official website pseb.ac.in or at punjab.indiaresults.com. The student will simply need to enter his or her name, roll number, mobile number and email id. The result should appear on the screen and should be saved for future reference.
Unlike Classed 10 and 12 there are no scrutiny/ re-evaluation process for Class 8 students, PSEB announced today. The supplementary exam date will be announced soon. As many as 5,000 students will appear for the supplementary exams. As per RTE, students appearing in Class 5 and 8 board exams are not detained however, they have to appear for the re-exam.
This year the exams were conducted on February 25 and concluded on March 21, whereas the class 8 practical examination started on March 22 and concluded on April 3.
Punjab School Education Board, in 2022 had registered an overall pass percentage of 98.25 per cent for Class 8.
