NEET UG 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) re-opened the registrations for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2023. Candidates who could not register for the exam earlier can now apply at the official website — neet.nta.nic.in.

Some candidates have also taken to Twitter to complain about the same. However, the NTA has declared that the registration link will be available for candidates from today.
The NTA claims that since the dataset was huge and it was taking time to collate and upload the same, the activation of the registration link was delayed. “The data is huge and it took us time to collect and upload it. Currently, the NIC is in the process of completing this step, and soon after the link will be activated… probably by today evening,” a senior NTA official told indianexpress.com.
Several representations were received from the candidates to open the registration window again for applying for NEET UG 2023 as they could not complete their registration due to various unavoidable reasons, as per NTA. Observing the vast number of requests, the exam conducting body decided to re-open the NEET UG registration window.
This opportunity is being provided for all those candidates who could not complete their registration earlier as well as for those candidates who want to apply as fresh candidates for the NEET UG 2023.
Candidates have time till 11:30 pm of April 15 to apply for NEET UG 2023. The last date for receiving fee online is April 15, 2023.
Step 1: Visit the official website — neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the registration link given on the homepage
Step 3: Click on new registration
Step 4: Enter your basic details such name, mobile number and email address
Step 5: Once registered, login using your application number and password
Step 6: Fill the application form and upload the necessary documents
Step 7: Save, submit and pay the fees
Step 8: Download the application form for future reference
According to the NTA calendar, the NEET UG 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 7 from 2 pm to 5:20 pm.
The NEET UG 2023 exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. It will be 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes) long exam.
As of now, the admit card release date has not been declared yet. Once declared, candidates will be able to download their admit card at the official website — neet.nta.nic.in. Last year, the NEET exam was held on July 17 and the admit card was released on July 12.
