(Graphics by Angshuman Maity) JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Result Updates: The NTA released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023, session 2 exam result in the early hours of April 29. Students who appeared for the April session exams can download their score cards from the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in.
As many as 43 candidates have scored 100 percentile in the overall merit list (based on session 1 and session 2 performance). Out of these 43, only one girl, Ridhi Kamlesh Kumar Maheshwari of Karnataka managed to secure a cent percentile.
This time, the NTA dropped 10 questions in the final answer key, released on April 24. For these dropped questions, the NTA has clarified that full marks will be given to candidates who appeared in the exam on a specific date.
IIT JEE Advanced 2023 registration will begin on April 30, 2023. Successful aspirants can apply for the same through the official site of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in. Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has already started the application process for OCI/ NRI candidates.

For general category candidates, the cut-off or qualifying percentile for JEE (Advanced)-2023 is 90.77, up from 88.4 in 2022, and 87.9 in 2021. The corresponding cut-off was 90.3 and 89.7 in 2020 and 2019, respectively. Check expected cut-off for other categories
percentile score is a comparative result that indicates the proportion of candidates who have scored marks that is equal to or less than the given score. For example, a student with a 70 percentile score in an exam would mean that she got more marks than 70 per cent of the candidates who appeared for it.
With 69 students, including 62 from the tribal community, from Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district having cleared the JEE Main (second session), in the results announced on Saturday, the district administration, which played a key role in helping the students achieve this feat, will now help them prepare for JEE Advance exams to qualify for IIT. A total of 9,31,334 students had registered for session 2 of which 8,83,367 appeared in the exam. The overall attendance in the second session was 94.83 per cent. In session 1 exams, NTA recorded the highest-ever attendance with 95.8 per cent.

TS EAMCET admit cards will be released tomorrow, April 30 and the exam will be conducted from May 10 to May 14 in two shifts. The exam is conducted for admissions to engineering colleges in Telangana state

The Goa Chief Minister recently announced that a new IIT campus will be constructed in the South of Goa. After the JEE Main 2023 result declaration, the counselling dates and seat allotment information will be updated on the official website. Candidates will have to register on the website of JoSAA to participate in the JEE Main counselling process.
JEE Advanced registration will begin on April 30. Therefore, the deadline to release the result is either today or by tomorrow. In the past years, due to multiple pleas filed in high courts, the NTA had to delay the JEE Main result. Therefore, there wasn't much gap between JEE Main result declaration and JEE Advanced registration date. This time, no court order is pending and the NTA can release the result today.
The successful students who score above the JEE Main cut-off can take the admission to the -- BE, BTech and BArch at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). The National Testing Agency (NTA) will calculate the JEE Main 2023 percentile scores up to seven decimal places.
JEE Main 2023 session 2 was conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15. The NTA had released the final answer key for JEE Main paper 1 on April 24, 2023. The NTA will be announcing the JEE Main 2023 cut-off and toppers along with the JEE Main result 2023.
