NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Council Committee (MCC) has extended the regisration deadline for round one counselling for PwBD candidates. As per the revised schedule, the last date to complete the NEET UG regisration is August 3, 2025. Various PwBD candidates mailed the Committee on the delay in obtaining certificates from designated disability centres; in view of this, MCC has extended the deadline. The seat allotment for the NEET UG 2025 round one will be released on August 6.
Candidates who are yet to apply for the NEET UG counselling can check the revised dates on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in and apply accordingly.

Once registration opens on July 21, candidates can follow these steps to register themselves –
Step 1: Visit the official website: mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the “UG Medical Counselling” section
Step 3: Register or log in using NEET UG credentials
Step 4: Complete the application form and pay the processing fee
Step 5: Upload necessary documents (NEET scorecard, photo ID, category certificate, etc.)
Step 6: Fill and lock your choices of colleges and courses
Step 7: Download the confirmation page for future reference
Registration for Round-1 has been extended until 1 pm on August 3, while payment for the same can be completed until 4 pm on the same day. Candidates are also allowed to fill their choices up to 11:59 pm on August 3. The choice locking window will be open from 6 pm to 11:55 pm on he same day.
Following this, seat processing for NEET UG round one will be carried out between 4th and 5th August 2025. The results for Round-1 counselling will be declared on August 6. Finally, candidates who are allotted seats will have to report to their respective institutions between 7th August and 11th August 2025.
This counselling process will cover 15% of All India Quota seats in medical and dental colleges. Additionally, 17 AIIMS are offering around 2,000 MBBS seats, 507 BSc nursing seats across nine institutions, and nearly 14,000 seats in deemed universities.
