NEET UG 2024: A total of two medical colleges from Gujarat have been ranked in the Education Ministry’s National Institutional Ranking Framework 2023. Gujarat’s Cancer and Research Institute is the top medical college in the state and was ranked in the 41st position in the NIRF 2023 medical college rankings. BJ Medical College, Gujarat has been placed in the 50th rank in the NIRF 2023 and NIRF 2022. The rank of Gujarat’s Cancer and Research Institute has seen a drop in the NIRF medical college rankings 2023. The Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute was ranked at the 37th rank in NIRF 2022 but slipped to 41st rank in NIRF 2023 medical rankings. Government Dental College Gujarat and Karnavati University have also been ranked in the list of top universities in Dental studies in Gujarat among the list of top dental colleges in NIRF 2023. Two universities have been placed in the NIRF rankings in 2022 and 2023 in dental from Odisha. Government Dental College Gujarat and Karnavati University are ranked in the 21st and 37th ranks in the NIRF 2023 rankings. The rankings of Government Dental College Gujarat have improved from 36th in NIRF 2022 to 21st in 2023. The rankings of Karnavati University have however have dropped from 31st in 2022 to 37th in 2023. In NIRF 2021 and NIRF 2020, no dental colleges were ranked from Gujarat.
