MPBSE Class 12th Results 2023 Declared: Overall pass percentage dips to 55.28%

MPBSE 12th Result 2023: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) today declared the MPBSE Class 12 results. Students can check their results at mpbse.nic.in, mpbse.mponline.gov.in, mpresults.nic.in and madhyapradesh.shiksha. The result was declared by state education minister Inder Singh Parmar.

The overall pass percentage has been recorded at 55.28 per cent. Girls have outperformed boys overall as they scored 58.75 per cent pass percentage, whereas boys got 52.00 per cent. A total of 729426 students appeared in Class 12 exams, of which 353989 were girls and 375437 were boys.

This time, in Commerce stream, the overall pass percentage was recorded as 57.37 per cent. Girls outperformed by scoring 65.48 per cent in comparison to 51.51 per cent scored by boys. Princi Khemasara, Ani Jain, Yashwardhan Singh, Anamika Ojha and Divyanshi Jain have topped the stream with 482 marks. Shaavni Singh Rathod stood second with 481 marks. Ayushi Jain, Aakash Pandey and Avishika Soni stood third with 480 marks.

In Science stream, the overall pass percentage was recorded as 66.07 per cent. Girls outperformed by scoring 69.03 per cent, in comparison to 63.18per cent scored by boys. Vikas Dwidedi topped with 491 marks, followed by Ritik Patel at 489 and Nikita Agarwal at 483 marks.

The overall pass percentage for Humanities stream is 44.95 per cent, where girls scored 48.20 per cent and boys scored 41.18 per cent. The toppers are Molly Nema with 489 marks, Sonakshi Parmar and Samika Verma at 487 marks, and Aarya Jhira with 486 marks.

This time, 18 candidates have secured positions in Arts (Humanities), 55 in Mathematics, 31 in Science (Biology), 67 in Commerce, 8 in Agriculture, 3 in Fine Arts + Home Science. This year, 55.28 per cent regular examinees and 18.15 per cent self-study students have passed in Class 12.

In 2022, the MPBSE results, for around 18 lakh students, was announced on April 29 at 1 pm and the overall pass percentage stood at 72.72 per cent. The girls had a better pass percentage than the boys. The pass percentage of the female students was 75.64 per cent whereas their counterparts had a pass percentage of 69.94 per cent. A year before last, MPBSE exams were cancelled due to the deadly second wave of the Corona Virus.
