Maharashtra SSC Results 2024: Class MSBSHSE 10th results trends from the past 5 years

Maharashtra SSC Results 2024 Date: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Class 10 results on May 27. There is no official confirmation from the Maharashtra board about the SSC results date, however, last year, the Class 10 results were declared on June 2 at 11 am.

Maharashtra SSC results analysis

Last year, as many as 15,29,096 students appeared for the SSC exams across the state out of which 14,34,898 qualified. As many as 5,26,210 students got a first class, 3,34,015 received a second division and 85,298 students got pass class.

The overall pass percentage saw a dip last year in Maharashtra SSC as the pass percentage recorded in 2023 was 93.83 per cent, it was 96.94 per cent in 2022. In 2022, the results were declared on June 17. In 2021, however it was 99.95 per cent which was substantially higher because of the cancellation of exams and results announced as per alternative assessment criteria. In 2020, it was 95.30 per cent.

In 2019, the pass percentage of Maharashtra SSC was 77.1 per cent with 16,77,267 registered students. While in 2018, 89.41 per cent, in 2017 the pass percentage was 88.74 per cent and in 2016 89.56 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Board released the Class 12 results on May 21. The overall 91.87 per cent students passed of which 93.37 per cent students passed the Maharashtra HSC exams under the fresh category. There is a 2.12 per cent increase in overall passing percentage compared to last year’s 91.25 per cent.

As many as 15,20,181 registered for the HSC exam of which 15,09,848 appeared while 13,87,135 passed.

A total of 95.44 girls passed while boys scored 91.60%. The passing percentage for physically challenged students is 94%.

Among the 9 districts, the Konkan (97.51) division tops while the Mumbai division has the lowest passing percentage (91.95%). A total of 26 subjects show 100 per cent result.
