Karnataka SSLC 10th Result 2025, Kseab.karnataka.gov.in Highlights: Meet the toppers

The examination saw a total of 427,379 candidates appearing, out of which 246,230 successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 57.61%. Among the various language mediums, English medium students had the highest pass percentage, while Tamil medium recorded the lowest. Below is a breakdown of the results by language medium:

Among Regular Fresh Students, 3,90,311 boys appeared for the exam, of whom 2,26,637 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 58.07%. In comparison, 4,00,579 girls appeared, with 2,96,438 passing, recording a higher pass percentage of 74.00%.

In 3B category, 58,852 boys appeared, passing at 64.96%, and 57,489 girls appeared, passing at 82.42%, for an overall pass percentage of 73.59%. Finally, under the Others category, 12,565 boys appeared with a 73.51% pass percentage, while 10,978 girls appeared and passed at 84.82%, leading to a combined 78.78% pass percentage.

A+ Grade (90-100%): 55,066 students (10.53%)

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the dates for the Karnataka SSLC exam 2 and 3. As stated in the press release, the SSLC exam 2 will be held between May 26 to June 2, 2025, while the Karnataka SSLC exam 3 is scheduled between June 23 to June 30, 2025. The Board has not released the entire schedule for the exam. It is expected to be released shortly.

For 2B category, 54,983 boys appeared, passing at 46.95%, while 62,317 girls appeared and passed at 66.37%, making an overall pass percentage of 57.27%. In 3A category, 33,772 boys appeared, passing at a high 71.68%, with 32,870 girls appearing and achieving an impressive 86.47% pass percentage, resulting in an overall 78.97% pass percentage.

For Category-01 (Cat-01) candidates, 35,953 boys appeared and passed at 54.43%, while 37,363 girls appeared and passed at 71.27%, making an overall pass percentage of 63.01%. In 2A category, 87,830 boys appeared with a 63.03% pass percentage, and 87,582 girls appeared, passing at 78.73%, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 70.86%.

Observing results by region for Regular Fresh Students, 3,35,446 candidates from urban areas appeared, out of which 2,24,900 passed, giving a pass percentage of 67.05%. Meanwhile, in rural areas, 4,55,444 candidates appeared for the exam, with 2,98,175 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 65.47%.

In the 2025 SSLC Examination-1, a total of 8,42,173 candidates appeared across all categories, including Regular Fresh, Private Fresh, Regular Repeaters, and Private Repeaters. Out of these, 5,24,984 candidates passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 62.34%.

The system of webcasting through CCTV's was continued in all the examination centres in the year 2024-25. Control rooms were set up in all districts for monitoring the live feed.

Fee exemption is given for SSLC Exam-2 for Regular Fresh students who have got ‘Not completed’ Result in Exam-1. But candidates who take up the exam for Result Improvement, Private candidates and Repeaters have to pay the prescribed Exam fee.

The Consolidated School Result sheet and Provisional Marks Cards will be provided today after 1.00 PM through the school login of the KSEAB website kseab.karnataka.gov.in. Provision is made to take printouts of the same at the school level. The examination result will be announced on the same day in the high schools.

Yes, the examination result will be forwarded to the student’s registered mobile number through SMS today after 12.30 PM.

The evaluation work of the answer scripts was conducted from 15-04-2025 to 26-04-2025 with a total of 60,943 evaluators in 237 Evaluation centres in 35 educational districts of the State.

This year, 22 students scored 625/625, out of which two students are from government school

KSEAB has announced the results. This year, the pass percentage is 62.34%. This is an increase by 9% from last year (53%). The pass percentage is overall including freshers , repeaters , and private candidates. Freshers have a pass percentage of 66.14%
