The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the KCET 2016 exam dates. The exam was scheduled on May 1 and 2, 2016. However, now it will be conducted on May 4 and 5, 2016.
The authorities have rescheduled the dates as they were clashing with All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) on May 1. A circular published on the official website states –
“As many students from Karnataka state are also appearing fro AIPMT entrance examination, it may cause inconvenience to a large number of students. To facilitate the state students, to take both the examination, the government has approved the proposal submitted by KEA to conduct CET-2016 on 05-05-2016 and 05-05-2016.”
Check the new dates for KET Exam 2016:
May 4, 2016: The Biology test will take place at 10.30 am and Mathematics will begin at 2.30 pm.
May 5, 2016: The Physics and Chemistry tests will begin at 10.30 and 2.30 pm, respectively.
May 6, 2016: The Kannada examination for Horanadu and Gadinadu students will be held.
Karnataka CET is conducted for admissions to various undergraduate (UG) professional programmes at government and private institutes in Karnataka.
