Karnataka PGCET 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). The Karnataka PGCET held for admission to the MCA, MBA, ME, MArch and MTech is deferred due to a clash with final semester exams of some universities. PGCET 2024 was supposed to be held on July 13 and July 14. The new dates will be announced soon.
Final semester exams at a few universities are set to be held from July 5 and 10 and therefore many students had urged KEA to postpone the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam.
“Many students have submitted the requests to KEA for postponement of PGCET 2024 exam scheduled to be held on 13th and 14th July 2024 as few universities are commencing final semester exams from 5th and 10th July, 2024,” KEA said while announcing the PGCET postponement.
It further added: “To protect the student’s interest, KEA has postponed the PGCET-2024 exam scheduled to be held on 13th and 14th July 2024 and the revised dates will be published in the KEA website in due course.”
Moreover, KEA will today reopen the Karnataka PGCET 2024 registration window. Candidates yet to apply for Karnataka PGCET 2024 can register online till July 7 (11:59 pm) at kea.kar.nic.in. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 registration fee payment window will, however, close on July 9 at 6 pm.
