Joint CSIR-UGC NET Dec 2024 exam at 1 centre in Assam rescheduled, new date later

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the shift 1 exam of the Joint Central Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (Joint CSIR-UGC NET) December 2024 held on February 28 at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati.

“Due to technical glitch, the exam in the subjects of Earth Sciences and Mathematical Sciences on 28.02.2025 (Shift 1 only) at Assam Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam stands cancelled,” NTA said.

The new date, time, and centre details of CSIR UGC NET of the rescheduled exam will be communicated shortly, the NTA announced.

Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to be in touch with the NTA website — csirnet.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2024 exam started on February 28 with the mathematical sciences, earth, atmospheric, ocean and planetary sciences and chemical sciences subjects. On March 1 and 2, life sciences and physical sciences exams will be conducted. The exams will be held in two shifts – 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm.
