The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur has collaborated with TIH iHub Drishti Foundation. The institute is inviting applications for a part-time MTech programme in augmented reality and virtual reality (AR and VR) for the academic session 2023-24.

IIT Jodhpur is offering a part-time MTech to cater to the immediate requirements of working professionals in emerging AR and VR technologies. Candidates having a BE, BTech, MSc, MCA degree in any discipline can apply to this programme. The last date to apply for the course is June 10. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website— ihub-drishti.ai/mtecharvr.

This will be the second batch of the programme offered by the School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The two year programme will require students to obtain 60 credits. The course will be offline and students will get on-campus immersions for 15 days.

The selection of the candidates will be based on programming, written test, interview and other criteria deemed suitable by the admission committee. Prior research exposure or industry experience will give the candidates an upper hand.

The programme aims to provide a comprehensive understanding, advanced analytical capabilities and practical research skills. The programme will equip students with knowledge regarding various tools utilised in the design and modelling of AR and VR applications. The programme will foster the capacity to devise technological solutions to cater to the increasing demands of AR and VR systems.
