JEE Main 2024 Registration Last Date Session 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the JEE Main 2024 registration portal today, November 30. Applicants yet to register for the IIT JEE Main 2024 can apply online at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in two rounds this year — January and April. Candidates will be intimated with the exam cities in the second week of January 2024. JEE Main 2024 application started on November 1, 2023.

The first session of JEE Main 2024 will be held from January 24 to February 1 and the second session will be held between April 6 and April 12. The BE/ BTech papers will be held as JEE Main paper 1 and the BArch and BPlanning papers will be held separately as JEE Main paper 2A and paper 2B respectively.

The JEE Mains question paper will also have internal choices within the sections — mathematics, physics and chemistry.

JEE Main Application Form 2024: Steps To Register

Step 1: Go to the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in

Step 2: Register by filling in the email address and mobile phone number

Step 3: Using the system-generated registration or application number, complete the JEE Main 2024 application form

Step 4: Upload scanned documents including photograph and signature

Step 5: Pay the JEE Main 2024 application fee online

Step 6: Submit the JEE Main application

Step 7: Download, save and print the JEE Main 2024 confirmation page

The total number of JEE Main registrations went up to 11.62 lakh in 2023, of which 11.13 lakh candidates appeared in both sessions of the exam held on 13 dates between January 24 and April 15.

JEE Main 2024: Checklist

– Candidates will have to first register on the National Academic Depository (NAD) Digilocker.

– They will now also have the option to choose Abu Dhabi as an exam centre

– The result mode and associated field for the candidates clearing the Tamil Nadu board Class 10 exam in 2021 have been disabled to support the students appearing JEE Main 2024.

– Candidates are not required to send or submit any documents including the JEE Main 2024 application confirmation page to NTA through post, fax, WhatsApp, email or by hand.

– A candidate need not appear in both the sessions of JEE Main 2024. However, if a JEE Main aspirant appears in more than one session then the best of the JEE Main 2024 NTA scores will be considered for the preparation of the merit list or ranking.
