JEE Main 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is giving candidates the option of editing their category in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023, session 2 application forms. The modifications can be made at the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Students have time from today till 11:50 pm of April 22 to make corrections in the ‘category’ column of their JEE Main 2023 application form. However, candidates should remember that no correction whatsoever will be entertained by NTA after April 22, under any circumstances.

It should also be noted that candidates can only modify their category (if required). However, the required documents related to the category will be verified at the time of counselling/admission by the concerned authority.

Recently, the NTA had released the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2023, session 2 exams, which concluded on April 15. Candidates were given time till April 21 to raise objections, on the basis of which the final answer key will be released soon. The result for JEE Main 2023 Session 2 will also be released “sooner than expected”, an NTA official told indianexpress.com.

As per Ramesh Batlish, FIITJEE expert, the JEE Main qualifying cut-off (as per NTA percentile score) for JEE Advanced 2023 for the General category students will be 88 to 80. However, some experts (Nitin Arora, Assistant Director Academics ENGG., Aakash BYJU’S Live) have also analysed the cut-off to reach 90- 92 in the general category.
