Jamia Hamdard, NIPER Hyderabad, BITS Pilani — best pharmacy colleges, top 10 list here: NIRF rankings 2024

NIRF Rankings 2024 Pharmacy category: In 2022, Punjab University had a drastic decline in its ranking from third position in 2022 to eighth position in 2023. This year there is a slight increase as the University is now at seventh position.

NIRF Rankings 2024 Pharmacy category: The Education Ministry has released the Indian Ranking Report for 2024 today in a press conference. Under pharmacy category, Delhi’s Jamia Hamdard has bagged the top spot followed by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (Hyderabad), Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Pilani), and JSS College of Pharmacy.

Here is a list of top 10 pharmacy colleges in the country:

2. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research

3. Birla Institute of Technology and Science

4. JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty

5. Institute of Chemical Technology

6. JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore

7. Panjab University

8. Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal

9. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Mohali

10. SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies

Last year, the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Hyderabad bagged the first position by obtaining a score of 78.86 points.

Additionally, it was followed by Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi with 78.86 score points, who has been in the top position since 2019 and was pushed to second position in 2023.

Third position was secured by the Birla Institute of Technology and  Science -Pilani, Rajasthan in 2023 NIRF rankings with a score of 76.67 points, while the fourth position was secured by JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty receiving a 76.55 score. The fifth spot was secured by the Institute of Chemical Technology, Maharashtra having a 75.42 score.
