This time, the examination was not taken on OMR sheets and the number of objective-type questions was less." "The important thing is that the number of students passing in the first division has increased this year," Singh said.

A total of two students have been expelled one each from Hazaribagh and East Singhbhum.

According to data shared by the council, 89.07 per cent of the general category students have passed the matric exam. Of the total students appearing from SC category, 89.98 per cent students have passed, 91.84 per cent ST students have cleared the exam, 93.96 per cent from Backward class and 93.97% from most backward class have qualified the exam.

JAC 10th Result 2024: This year, a total of 89.07% students from general category passed the matric exam, 89.98% students were from SC category, 91.84% from ST, 93.96% from Backward class and 93.97% from most backward class.

JAC 10th Result 2024: As per the data released by the Jharkhand Board, a total of 4,21,678 students registered and 4,18,623 students appeared for the matric exams. Of these, 3,78,398 students have cleared the class 10 exams.

A total of 2,05,110 students were placed in first division, 1,53,733 in second division and 19,555 in third division.

JAC 10th Result 2024: THis year, too, girls have outperformed boys as their overall pass percentage has been recorded as 91%, while boys scored 89.7%. 

Even in the toppers list, the top three positions have been bagged by girls. All three toppers are from Indira Gandhi Girls High School, Hazaribagh. Jyotsna Jyoti has topped with 99.2%, while the second topper is Sana Sanjori with 98.6%, and the third ranker is Karishma Kumari and Srishti Saumya with 98.4%.

In 2020, the pass percentage was 75.01 per cent.

The students unsatisfied with the JAC Class 10 result will also have the provision to apply online for scrutiny. The marks obtained after Jharkhand board result scrutiny 2024, even if less, will be considered as final.

To clear the Jharkhand board Class 10 exam 2024, a student should have a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject. The overall marks should also be 33 per cent.

Students will have to use their roll number and date of birth in the login window to check the JAC matric results 2024. The JAC Class 10 roll number is available at the Jharkhand board Class 10 admit card. Students will have to keep the JAC matric hall ticket handy to access the Class 10 matric results today.

The JAC result press conference has not started yet. The result will be declared in the press conference scheduled at 11:30 am. The JAC result toppers, overall pass percentage, district-wise performance will be announced in the JAC result 2024 matric result press conference.

After the Class 10 JAC result matric 2024 is announced, candidates will have to take admission in Class 11. Students can take admission in any of the three streams -- arts, commerce or science in Class 11. 

As many as 80 Jharkhand government-run Schools of Excellence which have 12,000 seats last year received 30,000 applications, according to JAC data. Hemant Soren, Jharkhand Chief Minister, in a bid to provide quality education in English medium, in May last year had inaugurated 80 government schools of excellence.

“Against the total number of 12,146 available seats for admissions to Schools of Excellence (SoEs) a whopping number of approximately 30,000 applications have been received across the state by the school management. The number of applications is 246 per cent higher than the total seats,” JAC said.

The JAC matric 2024 result date and time is April 19, 11:30 am. The JAC Class 10th result will first be announced in a press conference. 

Last year, the Chief Minister announced that over 4,000 state-run schools in Jharkhand would be upgraded to ‘schools of excellence’ to ensure quality education for the students.

Addressing a conference of School of Excellence Management Committees, Soren said the students of Jharkhand are not behind in any field but there is a need to connect them with resources.

Last year, as many as 4,33,718 students registered for the Class 10 matric exams Jharkhand board. While 4,27,294 actually appeared for the exam, the pass percentage last year was 95.38 per cent. Among them, 66.23 per cent obtained a first division, 31.05 per cent scored second division marks and 2.37 per cent secured a third division. 

In a bid to bring back students skipping classes for over a month, the Department of School Education and Literacy of Jharkhand last year launched a unique programme ‘Prayas -Siti bajao, school bulao’ (blow whistle, call students to school).

A government school in Tangrain in Potka block of East Singhbhum district implemented ‘Siti bajao, Upsthithi badao’ (blow whistle, increase attendance) in line with the government programme in December last year and the response was good.

‘Blow whistle’ campaign launched in the villages surrounding the school evoked a good response as students, who were absent for almost a month have started attending school as soon as they hear the whistle sound, said Headmaster-in-Charge Arvind Tiwary of Tangrain Upgraded Middle School.

The Class 10 matric results although will be declared today, the candidates will have to collect the original mark sheet from school authorities later. The JAC result 2024 Class 10 mark sheet will mention the personal details of students along with their matric marks obtained in all the subjects and the cumulative score.

The Jharkhand board will announce the details of the JAC Class 10 supplementary exams once the Jharkhand board matric result is out. Last year, the application for JAC Class 10 supplementary exams started in July. JAC declared the Class 10 results on May 23 last year.

The JAC Class 10 matric exam was conducted between February 6 and February 26. The JAC results 2024 due to be declared today was taken by over 4.2 lakh students. The JAC matric exam was held in 1,238 exam centres across the state.

The online mark sheet is provisional. Students will get their original mark sheet from school authorities.

3. Wait patiently since servers can get down due to heavy traffic

If a student fails to score the minimum in a couple of subjects, he or she will be allowed to appear for compartmental exams.
