IIT Jodhpur, University of Buffalo collaborate to establish Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Under this collaboration, there will also be an exchange of the students and faculty members for research purpose between the two institutes.

The Indian institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Buffalo on IIT_UB joint Center of Excellence in ‘Artificial Intelligence and Data Science’.

The aim of this centre, set up in collaboration, is to establish and continue long-term multi-institutional and international collaboration in educational and research fields that are compatible with the orientation and mission of each institution. The two institutes will work on and promote projects that are relevant to the academic, scientific, industrial, social, and cultural interests and needs of both the countries.

Under this collaboration, there will also be an exchange of the students and faculty members for research purpose between the two institutes.

The MoU was signed between Prof Santanu Chaudhury, Director, IIT Jodhpur and Prof A. Scott Weber on behalf of the University at Buffalo. The team of professors who visited the institute are Dr. A. Scott Weber, Dr. Paras Prasad, Dr. John Tomaszewski, Dr. Venu Govindaraju and Dr. Mark Swihart.
