IIT Jodhpur scholarships: The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT J) provides scholarships to students who meet the eligibility criteria every year. While some are in the form of college fee concessions, others come as direct benefit transfers to the students’ bank accounts.

Here are some of the scholarships from IIT Jodhpur which students can use during the time of admission:

1. SC scholarships for top class students: The scholarship scheme is available for SC students who wish to pursue studies beyond Class 12. The scheme will be applicable in all institutions notified by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment from FY 2023-24 to 2025-26. Once awarded, the scholarship will continue until the completion of the course, provided that the student maintains satisfactory performance.

Eligibility 

– Fresh scholarship will be awarded only to first year students with a family income from all sources up to Rs 8,00,000 and having secured admission in a full-time prescribed course in any of the notified institutions.

-The benefit will only be provided to a maximum of 2 siblings in a family. Students must submit an affidavit to the institution to confirm that they are not the third sibling in the family receiving benefits under the scheme.

– If the student fails to advance to the next semester/class, the scholarship will be terminated. However, upon advancement to the next class, the scholarship will be released automatically.

6. National Fellowship and Scholarship For Higher Education of Scheduled Tribe Students:

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious Scheduled Tribe students to enable them to pursue higher education after completing post-graduate degree.

MPhil 2 years or date of submission of a dissertation, whichever is earlier
MPhil + PhD 2+3 = 5 years or date of submission of dissertation, whichever is earlier
PhD 5 years or date of submission of a dissertation, whichever is earlier

Eligibility:

– Post-graduation and should have taken admission in the universities covered under the category. 

– The candidates should have a minimum of 55 per cent marks at the final examination/grading at the PG level.

Siddhartha Special Scholarship: Siddhartha Foundation, a wing of Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh offers a scholarship for students from Andhra Pradesh and passed intermediate or degree courses securing high CGPA and later obtained ranking in the AIEE and got admitted in first year UG and PG in the National Level Educational Institutions, read the website.
