FT Master’s in Management Rankings 2025: The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has been ranked as the top institute in India in the Financial Times (FT) rankings of Master’s in Management 2025. The Institute secured 28 rank surpassing IIM Ahmedabad, which according to the NIRF 2025 rankings, is the best management institute in the country.
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad bagged 34 rank, followed by SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (35), Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (41), Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (57), XLRI — Xavier School of Management (58), Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (69), Management Development Institute Gurgaon (72), Indian Institute of Management Indore (81), Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (98) and IMI Delhi at 99 spot.

The ranking, which incorporates 100 business schools across the world, ranked the University of St Gallen in Switzerland at the first spot, followed by HEC Paris, INSEAD, Portugal’s Nova School of Business and Economics and China’s Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management.
In a statement, Professor U Dinesh Kumar, Director In-charge, IIMB, said, “IIMB benchmarks its curriculum and impact through research against the best in the world to ensure that its students play a decisive role in addressing complex global challenges. The FT MiM ranking reaffirms our promise of delivering a transformational experience that leaves a lasting impact on students, practitioners, industries, and society”.
This year, in the top 10, there are no US business schools, but four French and Chinese B Schools have dominated the list. Here is the list of the top 10 B schools in the world.

Last year, in the rankings under the same category, SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) at 35 spot led the Indian Business schools. It was followed by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (39), Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (41) and Indian Institute of Management Lucknow at 55 spot. Both IIM Bangalore and Ahmedabad have improved their positions in the rankings as against previous year.
