(Image: representational)The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the interview admit cards for the Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT) recruitment for 2025. All those candidates who cleared their IBPS PO Mains examination can download their interview call letters from the official IBPS website – ibps.in. The PO admit cards will be available for download until December 24.
To download the admit card, applicants must log in using their registration number and date of birth, or password. After logging in, the interview call letter will be displayed on the screen, which candidates can then save, download, and print for use on the day of the interview.
The candidates must cross-check all details on the admit card and ensure that the document is carried to the interview venue along with the required identity proofs.
The recruitment exercise is held to fill over 5,000 vacancies across participating public sector banks, and the interview round marks the final phase of the IBPS PO recruitment process. Performance in the interview will play an important role in determining the final selection of candidates. The combined score of the mains exam and the interview, after normalisation, will decide the final merit list. Candidates are therefore encouraged to prepare thoroughly for the interaction, focusing not only on banking awareness and general economy-related topics but also on communication skills, clarity of thought, and understanding of current affairs.
The interview process typically includes questions related to a candidate’s academic background, previous work experience (if any), understanding of the banking sector, and situational problem-solving abilities.
Candidates may also be asked about recent developments in finance, government schemes, digital banking, and regulatory policies. Dressing formally, arriving on time, and carrying all necessary documents—such as the interview call letter, mains exam scorecard, valid ID proof, and other certificates—are essential for a smooth experience on the day of the interview.
The candidates are advised to access them at the earliest to avoid last-minute issues.
