GSEB Gujarat Board SSC Result 2024: Pass percentage up by nearly 18%, 70 schools score 0

GSEB Gujarat Board SSC Result 2024: While 1,389 schools registered 100 per cent result this year as against 272 in 2023 and 292 in 2022, only 264 schools have registered below 30 per cent result.

GSEB SSC Result 2024: With a jump of nearly 18 per cent from March 2023, Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) today declared the Class 10 results. The overall pass percentage is recorded at 82.56 per cent. Last year, it was 64.62 per cent.

Out of the 6,99,598 regular students who appeared in the Class 10 exams conducted by the GSHSEB from March 11 to 22 at 981 centres across the state, as many as 5,77,556 students have qualified for the secondary school certificate exams.

Girls outshone boys with a pass percentage of 86.69 as compared to 79.12 per cent of their male counterparts who could clear the secondary certificate examination in the state.

Against 6,111 students last year, as many as 23,247 students have obtained the A1 grade and 78,893 students have scored A2 grades. Results of 400 students suspected of copying have been kept reserved by the board which will be declared after a personal hearing, the board said while announcing the GSEB result.

While 1,389 schools registered 100 per cent result this year as against 272 in 2023 and 292 in 2022, only 264 schools have registered below 30 per cent result. Last year, schools with less than 30 per cent results increased to 1084 from 1007 in 2022. 70 schools have registered 0 per cent result this year. It was 157 schools last year.

Among the 33 districts, Gandhinagar have registered the highest pass percentage of 87.22 per cent while Porbandar the lowest at 74.57 per cent.

Dalod in Ahmedabad district and Talgajarda in Bhavnagar were among the 981 exam centres that recorded the highest 100 per cent result while Tad in Bhavnagar recorded the lowest with 41.13 per cent.

The pass percentage of basic math subject is the lowest at 83.4 per cent while standard maths had the highest with 99.45 per cent students passing the exam.
