Gujarat GSEB Board Class 10 Result 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) on May 11 announced the Class 10 result 2024. The GSEB Class 10 scorecards are available at the official website — gseb.org.

This year, the overall pass percentage is 82.56 per cent. It is an observable jump of 18 per cent from last year’s 64.62 per cent. The pass percentage of basic math subject is lowest at 83.4 per cent while the highest standard maths is 99.45 per cent.

To collect the GSEB original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools a few days after the GSEB Class 10 result 2024 declaration. To check the board result 2024 online, students are required to key in their roll code and roll number.

Analyzing examination from district wise, Gandhinagar district secured the highest pass percentage of 87.22 per cent, while the lowest is Porbandar with a pass percentage of 74.57.

The Gujarat Board conducted the class 10 exams from February 16 and March 4 from 10:00 am to 01:15 pm

The GSEB board exam for Class 10 was conducted at over 347 examination centers in the state. The board officials also made surprise visits to the exam centers as a measure to check the instances of cheating and using unfair means.

In 2023, 64.62 per cent of students passed the board saw a marginal decline from 65.18 per cent in 2022. Surat district tops with 76.45% and Dahod the lowest result of 40.75%. Girls outshine boys with 70.62%. Boys pass percentage at 59.58%. Among subjects, English first language subject recorded highest pass percentage of 95.06 while science lowest result of 67.72.

In 2021, a total of 8,57,204 candidates passed the class 10 board exams. Out of the passed candidates, 4,90,482 were boys and 3,66,722 were girls. The passing percentage was 100 per cent. The Gujarat government decided to promote all regular students of class 10, in view of the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation, the exam was scheduled to be cancelled.
