Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has declared the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) result. The students have to log on to the official website http://www.gate.iisc.ernet.in to check the results.
GATE 2016 examinations were held from January 30, 2016 and February 7, 2016.
GATE exam is conducted every year as a gateway to postgraduate courses at the Master’s and Doctoral level across the country. GATE score is also used for the direct recruitment to Group A level posts, that is, Senior Field Office (SFO Tele), Senior Research Officer (SRO) (Crypto) and SRO(S&T).

Steps to check GATE 2016 results:
Visit the official website
Click on the link displaying ‘GATE Score card’
Enter the required details like your hall ticket number and other details
Your score card will be displayed on the screen
Download your score card and preserve it.
