GATE 2024 Result: The Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), Bangalore on March 18 released the list of toppers of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 (GATE 2024).

Candidates can check the list of candidates who achieved All India Rank (AIR) 1 at the official website — gate2024.iisc.ac.in/all-india-rank/.

GATE 2024: Meet the toppers

As per the list, three candidates have secure AIR 1 in Electrical Engineering in GATE 2024: Manoj Kumar Sinha, Shivam and Sai Kiran Adelly. These three candidates scored 77 marks (raw) out of 100, and their GATE score was a perfect 1000.

Similarly, the top rank in Civil Engineering has also been achieved by two candidates this time, Deepak and Bhanu Pratap Singh, whose raw marks were 87.33 and GATE score was 989.

Piyush Kumar bagged AIR 1 in Computer Science and Information Technology.

GATE 2024 results were declared on March 16. This time, GATE 2024 was conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The response sheets were released on February 15, and answer keys, question papers were released on February 19. Candidates were allowed to raise objections regarding the answer keys from February 22 to 25.

In 2023, nearly 6.70 lakh candidates registered for GATE 2023 for 29 papers. Out of these, 5.17 lakh candidates appeared for the exam in more than 500 centres across the country with an overall attendance of about 77 per cent.
