FMS Summer Placements: The stipend in each category has seen an increase in the past three years. (Representative image/ Express photo)The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) has completed the summer placements for the batch of 2023-25, in which a total of 289 students have been placed, from the 304 offers that were made.
As per the data provided by FMS, a total of 289 students have been placed, and nine students have taken a placement holiday. This year, 304 offers were made from 101 participating companies.
The average stipend of top 10 per cent has been recorded at Rs 4.22 lakh, Rs 4.03 lakh for top 25 per cent, and Rs 3.57 lakh for top 50 per cent, claimed the management school. The stipend in each category has seen an increase in the past three years. Overall, the average stipend is Rs 2.96 lakh and Rs 3 lakh is the median stipend.
Continuing the trend of last few years, e-commerce companies recruited in large numbers from FMS. E-commerce giants offered coveted product and programme management roles. Some of the top recruiters were Adobe, Amazon, American Express, Arcesium, GE Vernova, HDFC Credila, Hindustan Unilever, Infoedge, Media.net, Microsoft, Natwest, Qualcomm, Samsung, Uber, and Zomato.
In the Sales and Marketing area, apart from legacy recruiters in the FMCG sector, sales/marketing roles were offered by the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Electronics, Retail, E-Commerce, Industrial Goods and Automobile sectors. Some of the top recruiters were Apollo, Asian Paints, AstraZeneca, Bridgestone, Cipla, Coca-Cola, Dabur, Diageo, Disney HCCB, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, L’Oréal, Mondelez, Nestle, NPCI, Perfetti Van Melle, Pernod Ricard, Pidilite, Puma, Reckitt, Samsung, Tata Play, and VI.
In the finance sector, offers were rolled out in roles like Front End Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Treasury etc. Recruiters included American Express, Axis Bank, Bank of America, Bharti Enterprises, Citi, Goldman Sachs, HDFC, Incred Wealth, JPMC, Morgan Stanley, Natwest, SMBC, Tata Play, White Oak, and Yes Bank.
Top recruiters in Consulting/ General Management/ Strategy sector included Aditya Birla Fashion, Accenture Strategy, Adani, Airtel, Bain & Company, BCG, Capgemini, C K Birla Group, Deloitte, DRL, EY Parthenon, JSW, Kearney, KPMG, Mahindra Group, McKinsey & Co., Nation with Namo, PWC, Redseer Consulting, Reliance, Renew Power, Sculpt Partners, Synergy Consulting, and TAS.
