Delhi Nursery Admission 2025-26: Deadline to register for open seats today

Delhi Nursery Admission 2025-26 Last Date: The Delhi government’s Department of Education (DoE) will close admissions for applicants who are applying for open seats on January 3. Parents have to upload details for admissions till the deadline. The Delhi nursery admission process is for parents who want to admit their wards to nursery, KG and Class 1 in private unaided recognised schools in Delhi.

It is pertinent to note that 25 percent of seats are reserved for economically weaker sections (EWS) and disadvantaged group (DG) students and children with disabilities in private schools. A separate list will be released for them.

Once the admission process, the first list of selected students will be available by January 17, and the window for allotment-related queries will be open from January 18 to January 27. If needed, the department will release a second list of selected children on February 3 and the resolution window for the same will be open from February 5 to February 11.

The age relaxation for admission of up to 30 days may be granted at the level of heads of schools in the classes’ minimum and upper age limit. The parents can approach the heads of schools or principals to seek age relaxation through a manual application.
