CUET UG 2023: The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is the first university in the state to receive A++ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University received an ‘A’ rating during the first phase of evaluation and certification in 2017.

The university is enrolling students on the basis of their CUET scores. Candidates who want to apply for the university can do through the official website— cusb.ac.in.

CUSB received 32,629 applications received for undergraduate programmes after the introduction of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in 2022.

Courses

The university is offering 4 UG courses under CUET UG 2023. The courses are 5 year Integrated BA LLB (Hons), 4 year BSc agriculture, 4 year Integrated BA BEd and 4 year Integrated BSc BEd.

Hostels

The university also has hostel services. There are two well-furnished hostels for girls and boys. The university also has various indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students’ leisure and recreation.

Placement Cell

Students from the university have been placed in reputed organisations like Azim Premji Foundation, Care India (NGO), Gandhi Fellowship – Piramal Foundation, Times of India, Hindustan Times, ETV Bharat, Hindustan Dainik and Prabhat Khabar.

The central university of South Bihar was established under the Central Universities Act, 2009 as Central University of Bihar (CUB). In 2014, the name was changed to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) under the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014. The university has 12 schools under which there are various departments. It is a 300 acre campus which is situated 15 kms away from Gaya town.
