CUET

There were nearly 31,357 applications received for the undergraduate programmes by the university after the introduction of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in 2022.

Courses

The courses offered by the university are: Integrated MCom of 5 years, Integrated MSc Life Science for 5 years, Integrated MSc Chemistry for 5 years,  Integrated MSc Physics for 5 years, Integrated MSc Mathematics for 5 years, Integrated BSc BEd Chemistry majors for 4 years,  Integrated BSc BEd Physics majors for 4 years, Integrated BSc BEd Mathematics majors for 4 years, Integrated MA English for 5 years, certificate in Chinese for 1 years.

Hostels

The university provides hostel services. There are 14 hostels on campus out of which 6 are for boys and 8 are for girls. The hostel provides Wi-Fi services, well furnished rooms and clean mess food.

History

Tezpur University was established in 1994 by an act of Parliament. The university has 30 departments and 4 schools in total. According to the 2020-21, the university offers 71 courses.
