CUET PG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) started the application process for Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG 2024) on Thursday, January 2. Along with the CUET PG application form, the NTA has also released this year’s CUET PG information bulletin, syllabus and exam pattern at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/.
Several changes are also made to the CUET PG 2025 exam. The application form which was last year earlier hosted on the pgcuet.samarth.ac.in, is now available at a new website – exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG. The application fee has also been increased for all the categories of candidates.
Applicants desiring to get into a central university and other CUET PG participating universities for admission to PG courses will have to go through the changes introduced this year before filling the application form.
The CUET PG official website is now exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG. The CUET PG official website has uploaded the information brochure, syllabus, answered to frequently asked questions and other details on eligibility, number of subjects, participating universities and colleges.
The NTA has increased the registration fees for all categories by Rs 200 compared to last year. Candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs 1,400 to register for CUET PG 2025 and those under OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS will have to pay Rs 1,200. Candidates had to pay Rs 600 for additional test papers last year. However this year, for each extra test paper they wish to appear, the general category candidates will have to pay Rs 700.

The NTA has decreased the number of exam city centres for the CUET PG 2025 examination from 300 in 2024 to 285 in India. The total number of exam centre cities across the globe is however 312. Candidates will be able to select four cities of their choice on the basis of their permanent address or present address. Last year, candidates were able to select only two cities.
Last year, the exam duration was 105 minutes. However, now the candidates will get only 90 minutes to answer 75 multiple choice questions.
A total of 157 subjects are being offered in CUET PG. According to the CUET PG dates, the application form can be filled between January 2 and February 1. The exams are set to be held from March 13 and 31.
