ISC 2024 Class 12th exams start today; CISCE guidelines for students

ISC 2024 Class 12 exams start Feb 12, lasting till April 3. The first exam scheduled is English paper 1 (English language), starting at 2 pm.

CISCE ISC Board Exams: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is set to begin the ISC (Class 12) exams today, February 12. The first exam scheduled is English paper 1 (English language), starting at 2 pm and lasting for 3 hours till 5 pm. The Class 12 CISCE 2024 exams will continue till April 3.

To appear for the exams, students must bring their admit cards. The question paper along with the answer booklet will be handed out to students at 1:45 pm. This brief period of 15 minutes allows students to review the question paper before beginning the exam.

ISC Exams Guidelines 2024

Reach the exam hall at least an hour before the exam time, and be seated in the examination hall five minutes before the time fixed for the start of the examination in this subject.
On the top main answer booklet, candidates must put their signatures in the space provided for the purposes.
Candidates must clearly write their unique ID (Unique Identification number) and index number on the top-sheet of the answer booklet in the space provided. All entries on the answer booklet must be made with black/blue ink pen only.
Read all the general directions that may be given at the head of a paper, regarding the number of questions that should be attempted.

The Council has discontinued the compartment exams from the 2024 exam year. Candidates will however be given the opportunity to improve their marks and grades in the same year of the exams and also take improvement exams. Candidates will be allowed to appear in a maximum of two subjects in the improvement exams.

CISCE will be conducting the Class 10 ICSE exams from February 21. The Class 10 exams will begin with the English language – English paper 1 on the first day of exam. The ICSE exam will conclude on March 28.

A court in Antwerp passed the order initiating the formal process of bringing Choksi back to India. But, he still has options to challenge the order passed by the lower court.

Belgian court clears fugitive jeweller Mehul Choksi’s extradition to India

Mehul Choksi, a fugitive diamantaire wanted in India for a Rs 13,000 crore loan fraud case, has been cleared for extradition by a court in Antwerp, Belgium. The Indian government has assured that Choksi will be held in a specific jail complex and provided with basic amenities if extradited. Choksi's extradition proceedings have advanced in Belgium and he has the option to challenge the order.
